Main Street National Bank—Depping is Back !!!

Confirmed that Thomas J. Depping, former of First Sierra/Sierra

Cities has established a bank in Houston, Texas, which he will

start to promote as “ America's Small Business Bank.”

While at Sierra Cities, he had put in a bank application, but

the sale of his company, and the changes in the portfolio,

right before the closing to American Express, put a damper

on it.

While they are still in “organization,” the plan is to model it

after his former company, seeking private label leases, portfolio's,

and loan originations nationwide.

He is not longer the Gazelle, as he likened himself when his

company was sold and he had resigned, he says he is not

afraid of jaguars or other animals. He is back to being

the hunter.  Along with Bob Quinn and Mike Hoffman

he plans to build a larger entity than Sierra Cities.

A press release may be in the offering by early next month.

He spent Thursday through Saturday at the United Association

of Equipment Leasing Conference in Monterey, then headed

late Saturday for the Equipment Leasing Association in Palm Desert,

California being held Sunday through Tuesday.

He was working the crowd as an astute politician would with

reports that he and Bob Quinn were very well received by all.
