Norvergence Customers Fight Back!

Contact Your Local TV Stations, Newspapers & Elected Officials About The Pending 5pm Outage

"11,000 Small Businesses Lose Telecom Service - Equipment Companies Still Demand Payment"

If you are a Norvergence customer about to loose all your Norvergence telecom services at 5pm today, contact your local TV stations, newspapers and all elected officials immediately to make sure everyone knows your plight.

If all 11,000 Norvergence customers across the country call today then their plight will become a national news story sure to be covered by the media for tonight's news. But call today - it won't be much of a media story tomorrow.  Forward the links below from other newspapers and TV stations that have covered the event.

If you are concerned about having to continue to pay for the Norvergence rental agreement for 60 months in spite of the Norvergence phone service being shut off, show the media the letters you've received from the equipment companies who state you still have to pay the full amount even after Norvergence stops providing service.

To view all of TAA's coverage of Norvergence including an equipment company demand letter, visit www.TelecomAgent.org.

If any of the TV stations or newspapers need to contact TAA for a quote about Norvergence, please have them email Dan Baldwin at dan@baldwin.net or call 909-245-6877.

Emergency 800 Transfers

If Your 800 Number is Through Norvergence, It Will Likely Stop Working At 5pm Eastern Today

HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO DO . . .

Whoever you're switching your long distance service to, they need to do an EMERGENCY RespOrg,  also known as a "NASC". Emergency RespOrg orders can be done in just a couple hours. Many carriers won't do this as they only do normal 800 RespOrg changes which can take many days to complete.

If you can't find a provider to do an emergency RespOrg change of your 800 number, TAA has found a TAA approved provider that will.  The provider is TNCI which is a reseller of Qwest.

If you wish to use this service you need to fill in all the forms below and fax them to 909-494-4257. When the forms are received you will receive a call within 10 minutes to confirm that the information has been received.

All orders will be on a month to month contract, be billed by TNCI, a Qwest reseller in good standing with TAA. The rate for switched 800 numbers is 4.5 cents per minute. If you have T-1 800 service you will get a call.

Please just fill out all forms as best you can and then fax them in to 909-494-4257. If you have questions about the forms send an email to dan@baldwin.net.
