Telecom Agents Assoc. Move Forward

“The Leasing Companies are also suing many of the companies who are current in their payments,” Dan Baldwin, Executive Director of Telecom Agents Associations said on the Yahoo Listserve.

Leasing News has been told that many leasing companies, banks, mortgage companies have postponed payments, and announced so, to victims of the Florida hurricane.  News that lessees are being sued while they continue to make payments has not been verified.

Telecom Agents Association has issued the latest announcement;

“URGENT RECOMMENDATION FOR EX-NORVERGENCE CUSTOMERS

“The Norvergence Customer Legal Co-op or "NCLC" has issued an urgent recommendation to all ex-Norvergence customers as a courtesy. The  complete recommendation can be read at the following web page:

http://www.telecomagent.org/coop1.htm

“The recommendation is made urgently due to the information the NCLC  has learned over the past several days about the nature of the ever-increasing lawsuits the leasing companies are quickly filing against the ex-Norvergence customers who have decided not to pay their lease payments.

“The recommendation also includes instant access to the audio recording the NCLC made yesterday, August 30th, of the NCLC's weekly members only audio conference call. Anyone can listen to the audio recording of the conference call for free and without obligation to join the NCLC.

“The subject of the conference call was a direct comparison of the Weir & Partners' group legal action with all other known available options. In the conference call, co-op administrator Dan Baldwin interviews an ex-Norvergence customer who elected not to join the NCLC but instead started her own legal co-op of sorts for ex-Norvergence customers in Texas. The Texas co-op hired their own lawyers and paid them about $7,000 independent of the NCLC to discover the legal options that best suited their needs.

“The long and short of it is the Texas legal co-op's lawyers also endorsed the Weir & Partners group legal action. The audio conference call recording also includes an interview with one of the Texas co-op's attorneys. To learn more about Weir & Partners group

legal action, please visit www.NorvergenceLitigation.com. “

Sincerely,

Dan Baldwin, Administrator
Norvergence Customer Legal Co-op
